I have to disagree that this a complete copy of a MINI. It’s simply a modern version of a classic Trabant design. Much like MINI has done since it became BMW. If you compare a MINI of the same era with a Trabant you will find that they were just as similar then as they are now. In addition the influences of Sachsenring’s early designs can be seen in the MINI and the VW beetle among others. The P70 Estate and Coupe models and the earlier IFA F9.

This a super sweet little car. I want one!
