Zero. Spotlighten kan ni förresten se efter hoppet…

One of the thing that we Scandinavians got in common with the Japanese is our love for simple furniture made from natural materials. The furniture series Hiroshima, designed by
Naoto Fukasawa and manufactured by
Maruni, is a perfect example of that. The series is made from beech or oak that has a non-painted finish showing the natural, beautiful wood grains. After the jump you’ll be able to, besides photos, see a a video of the production of Hiroshima.

I’m always on the lookout for a knife stand and I’m currently thinking of buying the
Futagami and
Oji & Design designed knife stand in brass and cheery wood. Unfortunately it costs ¥14175 (about 130€) and that’s a bit pricey for a knife stand, even when it’s made out of brass and as beautiful as this one.
