La Puglia in un piatto
If you ask “if you can only eat food from one country, what country would that be?” I think many of us would say Italy. The italian cuisine is versatile and it differs from the region to region. The design agency Usopposto have designed La Puglia in un piatto (Apulia on a plate) a cookbook that celebrates the food from one of those regions, Apulia. The cookbook containing 60 recipes that are accompanied by a series of graphic interpretations graphics applied to ceramic plates. They’ve also made a bespoke graphical font for the book that you can download from here. And you’ll find a bunch of photos of the book after the jump.

Jane Hornby is an experienced food writer and cook and she recently released What to Cook and How to Cook it. The book is the ultimate cookbook for beginners and shows how to cook food in easy steps. Inside the sketchbook of a designer
As a designer I find it incredible inspiring to see how other creative minds work. So it almost feels like the book Graphic by Steven Heller and Lita Talarico was made for me. The book contains some 100 of the world’s leading graphic designers (including creative minds as Stefan Sagmeister, Sara Fanelli, and Art Spiegelman) who have all open up their private sketchbooks to chart their creative process. Idag börjar Ramadan
Idag är första dagen av Ramadan. Som en lite hyllning till denna stora högtid så tänkte jag tipsa om tre bra böcker om islamisk och arabisk design. Jag äger alla tre och är väldigt nöjde med dem. Två handlar om de geometriska mönster som genomsyrar den islamiska världen och den tredje handlar om modern arabisk och persisk grafisk design.
