Empire Mayonnaise is a small, newly started company specializing in exotic flavored quality mayonnaises. With flavors as black garlic, pistachio and mayonnaise made from emu eggs they stand out from a pretty boring and like minded industry. Add to that inviting packaging and I’m sold. Behind the company you find designer Elizabeth Valleau (who of course designed the packaging) and chef Sam Mason. The two have with seemingly small means managed to create something exiting and unique. And if you want to taste their mayonnaises you’ll have to look them up at the Brooklyn Flea, Williamsburg.
Mayonnaise for hipsters, by hipsters. :] I like.
