Daymer Bay Iced Tea

Cornwall based Daymer Bay Iced Tea has gotten a great redesign by Lisa Claire Stewart. As all good designers she developed a bunch of different design variations based on the companies motto/catchphrase, taste of Cornwall (in a bottle). The inspiration, is as you might see, the ocean and the waves that makes Cornwall a surfing hotspot. After the jump you’ll find a bunch of Lisa’s designs, my favorite is the speech bubble version but Daymer Bay Iced Tea liked the cleaner lest colorful version, perhaps a safer alternative? To compare, you’ll also find a image of the old bottles at the bottom of the page after the jump.

It feels like I’ve written way more about
coffee than tea. I guess it has to do with that I hang around
espresso bars more than tea places. But lets start this week with beautiful teas from tea wholesaler
All About Tea. The packaging and identity was created by
Moving Brands and I think they did a great job. I’m especially impress with the the thought that went into the logo. It has a simple yet wonderful playfulness and draws its inspiration from a tea ball or how a pile of tea looks.

Dutch designer
Elroy Klee have designed some serious cool packaging for Mount Tea. The pyramid shaped boxes is not only a flirt with the teabags shape but also a play on the brand name. Anyway you look at it, they look great and they can be bought at Mount Tea’s shop in
Steinfurt, Germany.

Murdock is a London based chain of Barbers and Gentleman’s stores with a classic modern identity that
Atwork developed in close cooperation with Murdock owner and founder Brendan Murdock. I’m especially fond of the illustrations and color details on the different bottles and packaging. Examples of that can be found after the jump!
