Jackie by Åsa Jungnelius

Designer Åsa Jungnelius makes her first appearance as a designer for Kosta Boda with the glassware series Jackie. The series includes three glasses, bowls and vases. I’m not a fan of the blows or the vases but I do like the simplicity of the glasses. The dripping gold effect is just lovely!

Globe by Ulla Christiansson

Growing up my parents used to drink their wine in nice rounded glasses from IKEA. I’m sure that IKEA still carries them but if you want glasses with a bit more finesse and finish you can now get some, and a nice decanter, from Design House Stockholm. Float by Molo Design

Float is a series of glass made by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic from pure German glass. The suspended bowl design gives the series it’s name and it also creates a effective insulation from the liquid, hot or cold. The series is manufactured by Canadian Molo Design and if you want to get your hands on some beautiful glasses you can order them directly from their homepage. > Molo Design

Glacier Collection by David Wiseman

Today is the first time I post about crystal. I usually don’t like heavy crystal pieces but David Wiseman organic series sort o speaks to me. Glacier Collection was created for the Czech company Artêl and the collection include the bowls you see in the post, a vase, and two glasses.
