Filippa K and Rörstrand (autumn 2011)

Swedish fashion house Filippa K and pottery (ceramics) manufacturer Rörstrand has presented their designs for the fall series of mugs and plats. The three décor’s are called Net Trim, Ink Stripe and Net. Personally I like Net the most, unfortunately Net will only be available as a plate décor and not on the mugs. More photos after the jump of course.

Regular readers of this blog knows that I like
coffee. But I don’t like all coffee, I don’t like coffeemaker coffee! It’s perhaps because its always too hot or I’m just ruined by all the cups of horrible office brewed coffee I’ve been forced to endure during endless meetings. But after having traveled
Indochina I’m starting to developed a taste for single cup drip coffees. Sure in Indochina you get it strong and sweeten with
condensed milk, but the
brewing method is pretty much the same. So, I think it’s time for a post about a nice single cup drip solution. The coffee measurer above and the drip brewer after the jump are both designed by japanese designer Torch, real name
Takayuki Nakabayashi. Simple and clean, just as I like it!
