Pasta Martelli

Pasta Martelli

The Martelli has been making pasta in the small city of Lari, Tuscany since 1926. The past is of high quality and so is their packaging, designed by a family member over 20 years ago. The characteristic yellow bags look trendy despite their age and I’m pretty sure that they will look as modern in 20 years. More photos of the good tasting paste after the jump…

Blossa 2011

Blossa 2011

For the first time since 2003, when Blossa began with their vintage glögg, someone other than BVD is doing the design. Behind this years brown bottle, containing glögg flavored with arabica coffee from El Salvador, we find Jensen Pamp McCann. The shape of the bottle is the same as previous years but Jensen Pamp McCann has chosen to downplay the year a bit, and instead the print on the bottle focuses on the GPS coordinates of the coffee plantation. And Johan & Nyström rosted the coffee used in the glögg. > Blossa > Jensen Pamp McCann > Johan & Nyström

Kickstand Brooklyn

Kickstand Brooklyn

Cold brewed coffee isn’t that big in Sweden yet, but from what I understand it’s pretty big in the United States of America. Kickstand Brooklyn is one of the companies doing cold brewed coffee and they have packaged it nicely in dark glass bottles. Besides doing bottled coffee Kickstand Brooklyn also runs a cool coffee stand that they pull all over New York with their bikes. They’ve designed everything themselves and are currently working on a updated coffee stand. I wonder if this years Malmöfestivalen will see any bike “powered” coffee stands? > Kickstand Brooklyn
